DIXIE FUND

This Fund was set up in Memory of Dixe. This sweet girl was found on death row in an over-crowded animal control facility in Louisiana. She had been terribly abused and was extremely frightened. In the midst of medical treatment to save her life Dixe crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, but not before her kind eyes and gentle nature touched our hearts.
*All donations will be used to pay for veterinary treatment/ supplies that go beyond basic vetting.
All donators will receive a tax receipt. You can donate via (PayPal account) or you can mail a cheque.

Rescue T-Shirts
Support our rescue efforts by purchasing one of these beautiful limited editiont-shirts for $20.00. All monies will go twards saving the lives of animals in life and death situations. Just as this shirt depicts, these little ones are such loyal friends when given a chance.

THESE ARE SOME OF THE WONDERFUL ANIMALS THAT WILL BENEFIT FROM THE DIXIE FUND

	Cinnamon (pictured on the right) is in need of surgery to fix the tear duct of her left eye. This is often referred to as "Cherry Eye". This is easily fix and the eye will then be fully functional with no furture problems to be expected. The cost of surgery $450.00
	Chris was found wandering after Hurricane Ike. No one came to claim him while he was on death row at a high-kill shelter so our rescue partner pulled him to safety. Chris is missing one of his hind legs. The Dixie Fund will ensure that Chris receives all that he needs to live a healthy and happy life.

Sam is approx. 5 months of age. He has travelled a long way to find a forever home where he can enjoy life, eat lots of good food, and make plenty of new friends. Sam was struck by a car when he was 3 months of age while he was living on the streets of Taiwan.

Would you like to honor the life of a Special Person or Pet?

Donations over 25.00 will receive a framed picture and a short letter telling a bit about the animal that was helped because of your kindness. We will also include a copy of the beautiful poem, "The Rescue Angel". (pictured below)
